Simple Truth Celebrates WBE Certification

Simple Truth is proud to announce our national certification as a Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE) by the Women’s Business Development Center in Chicago, a regional certifying partner of the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC). This certification — one of the most widely recognized and respected certifications in the nation — is highly regarded by hundreds of corporations across the country, as well as a number of federal, state and local government agencies.

The WBENC certification is a rigorous and stringent review process conducted over several months, including an in-depth review of the business along with an on-site inspection to verify the business is 51% owned, operated and controlled by a woman or group of women. Simple Truth’s partnership — which includes Rhonda Kokot, Susan Bennett and Mark Drozd — met the WBENC requirements and were granted WBE certification in early November. 

“We’re proud to be recognized by the WBENC and certified as a women-owned and -operated business,” said Rhonda Kokot, managing director at Simple Truth. “As a communication company, I think it’s especially important that we can clearly understand and express diverse points of view for all our clients.”
